Hey folks! About a week ago, I got an invitation from Ryan from “House of Dice” battle reports to join him for a quick 10 point game that he recorded. He did a fantastic job (it’s only a 15 minute video, but Ryan worked hours to bring it to life!), and I’m happy to share it with our regular viewers and listeners! Give it a look if ya’d like!
Ryan is a local, so I’m sure we’ll get more battles (and larger ones, as he streamlines his process… as it was, this battle took almost 3 hours to record! And that’s just recording, not editing!). Hope everyone enjoys it!
Store Wars might be done for this year but there are still loads of tournaments around. This weekend Marc ran a small event in our own local London FLGS, The Game Chamber. It was a 50 pt Steamroller and players using ADR casters could take advantage of the 20pts of specialists as if this were a Master’s event.
I love the concept of ADR and my only complaint about the format is that nobody uses it since its only in the Master’s packet.
So last week I finally finished my write up for the Adam O Invitational… and we decided to do a podcast on Aaron and Nick’s results!
Come listen to us discuss playing against Bradigus (2 of the 3 hosts had to play Gaven testing out his Bradigus list!), find out how my noble cohosts did, and learn Aaron’s newest ability in real life!
I’ve now been playing WarMachine for over 2 years, and during that time the majority of my games have been at a little house league (literally: a league in Adam’s house) where we play weekly.
We have been keeping track of our games since the beginning, but this year we decided on a somewhat formalized “season”… each of us would play exactly 30 games, 6 against each of our 5 opponents (we added Darrell and Todd to the mix about halfway through, but we kept the numbers the same for ease). Then, at the end of the year, we’d have a “Year End” tournament with the initial pairings set by our standing over the course of the year.
