Tournament Video – Store Wars 2015 – Hobby Kingdom #2

Marc and I were present for the Second tournament in the Store Wars circuit at Hobby Kingdom which also happened to be the last tournament in the Store Wars circuit for 2015.

I set a goal for myself to qualify for the 16 man invitational this year that I have failed to meet.  Unfortunately, life happens and I didn’t make it out for as many events as I’d hoped I would. Marc still has a good chance to make it though. Especially with his impressive 3-1 finish at his event.

Tournament Video – Ontario Team Championship

Last weekend the Combo Smite crew headed down to Burlington, Ontario to compete in Canada’s first WTC style team tournament, the Ontario Team Championship. The event was run by Scott Talarico from Party Foul and a huge thanks go out to him and all his volunteers for putting on such an huge and successful Warmachine event. Team Combo Smite consisted of: Marc (Cygnar), Nick (legion), Kassem (Skorne), Adam (Cryx) and Darrell (Menoth). We made a good showing and our team went 3-1 and took 5th place. Most importantly we brought the camera down with us to record some games.

Tournament 005 – Meeplemart 50pt. SR – Nick’s Mercs Results

On Saturday Marc and I made the trek into Toronto to attend a 50pt Steamroller event at Meeplemart. Meeple has to be the nicest gaming store I have ever seen. Tons of stock, large play area with comfortable leather chairs and lots of very passable terrain.

I was bringing my Mercs with a couple lists that I am practicing with for the Game Summit Masters tournament that we are attending next week.  The lists I brought were:

     So as I’ve stated before, I’m working on getting my two 50 point Protectorate lists painted up.  If I can manage it between work, the wife and kids it will be the first time I’ll have fielded a fully painted force since I started WarmaHordes.

Greetings all!  I’m back to regale you with more tales of my epic adventures in failure.  Well, actually I plan on discussing with you some of the more eccentric aspects of my list building and play-style; why I choose some of the unconventional units that I do and why I favour some of the “lower tier casters”.

Battle 034 – Tournament Battle Report – Game Chamber – Nick’s Mercs Run Rampant

We had a tournament at out local gaming store The Game Chamber.  I brought my Mercs out in full force and had a great day of gaming.
